Flank steak marinade 
You can never have enough marinades. Be careful of the salt content of this one because of the amount of soy sauce. You can use low-sodium soy sauce. Definitely don't add any additional salt.

| 1/4 cup soy sauce | 
| 1/4 cup water | 
| 1 tablespoon onion powder or dried onion flakes | 
| 1 teaspoon garlic powder | 
| 1/4 teaspoon pepper | 
| 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce | 
| 1 tablespoon lemon juice or red wine vinegar | 
| 1 tablespoon sesame oil, regular or spicy |

| • Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. |

| • Add a teaspoon of Sambal Oelek, Sriracha, or chili garlic sauce. | 
| Storage |

| • This can be made ahead. Cover and refrigerate 3 -4 days. | 
| • Marinate flank steak or top sirloin steak for 1 hour at room temperature or 3 - 4 hours refrigerated. Turn occasionally. |
