Fluffy chocolate frosting 
This is a terrific frosting for the Devil's food cake. It's also quick and easy, completed in under 15 minutes.

| Ingredients |

| 1 1/2 sticks of butter, at room temperature | 
| 2 cups confectioners' sugar | 
| 1 teaspoon vanilla extract | 
| 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled slightly | 
| 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled slightly | 
| Instructions |

| • Beat the butter until light and fluffy. With the motor running, add the confectioners' sugar a little at a time until it is light and fluffy. | 
| • Add the vanilla extract. Mix. | 
| • Add the melted chocolate. Mix thoroughly. Turn the mixer on high and beat until light and fluffy. | 
| • Put about one tablespoon of the frosting on the bottom of your cake plate to hold the cake in place. Add one cake layer. Add a light coating to the top and sides of one cake layer. Add the second cake layer and repeat. Add the final cake layer and spread with the remaining frosting. |
